Introducing...Dr. Sharon Gaber
The University of Toledo has a new President.
Dr. Sharon Gaber, UT's 17th President, is the first female leader of the school that was founded in 1872.
Dr. Gaber is the former University of Arkansas provost. She has an academic background as an urban planner, and received her doctorate in city and regional planning from Cornell University. Her career includes time at Auburn University and at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
UT and Dr. Gaber released the following video to introduce her to the community. Dr. Gaber begins her 5 year contract on July 1st.
