June 2016 NW Ohio Jobs Report

A variety of industries are hiring in the 17 county Toledo Region. According to data from The Conference Board, 14,245 job openings were posted in this area online in June 2016. More than 1,000 of the ads requested pediatric, quality assurance, or preventative maintenance skill sets.

71% of jobs posted were within the Middle – Upper Middle Income salary bracket ($30K-$79k). 
Again this month, Mercy Health was the number one hiring employer, with 532 ads posted during the reporting period. Blanchard Valley Health System and Bob Evans Farms, Inc., both exceeded 180 posted ads.
