Northwest Ohio Jobs Update - April 2016

A variety of industries are hiring in the 17 county Toledo Region. According to data from The Conference Board, 16,100 job openings were posted in this area online in April 2016. This was an increase of 933 ads from March 2016.

60% of jobs posted were within the Middle – Upper Middle Income salary bracket ($30K-$79k). The most sought after skills are within pediatrics, quality assurance, and geriatrics.

Again this month, Mercy Health was the number one hiring employer, with 470 ads posted during the reporting period. Blanchard Valley Health System, Roehl, and HCR ManorCare all exceeded 140 posted ads.
