Toledo Art Museum Hosts 5th Annual Block Party
The Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) will be hosting its 5th annual block party on Saturday, July 7.
From 6-10 p.m., visitors can enjoy live entertainment and food from local food trucks while listening to musical acts. There will also be a scavenger across the Museum’s campus, glassblowing and flame-working demonstrations, and family activities throughout the night.
Visitors will have a chance to explore the galleries and exhibits on the Museum’s 40-acre campus. The newest exhibit, Community, contains more than 500,000 plants and flora that is all hand-strung and hanging from the ceiling. It was created by British artist Rebecca Law and is located inside the Canaday Gallery. The exhibit is free for museum members or $10 for non-members to experience.
Admission to the Block Party is free. Parking is free for TMA members and $7 for nonmembers (cash only). The block party will be held rain or shine.
