Readers have voted and the Toledo Museum of Art and National Museum of the Great Lakes have been awarded the first and second best attractions in Ohio according to a new list released by USA Today 10Best. Four Toledo Region attractions were named in the top ten.

The museum was designated the top attraction in Ohio. With 30,000 works of art spread across six buildings and 36 acres, the Museum is known internationally for their collection. Tourists and residents alike can enjoy the collection free of charge six days a week. Visitors are encouraged to check out the 1,750 seat Peristyle concert hall, the award-winning Glass Pavilion, or one of the many educational programs offered at the museum.

Located on the banks of the Maumee River, the National Museum of the Great Lakes was chosen by popular vote as the next best attraction in all of Ohio. Displaying hundreds of years of Great Lakes history, the National Museum of the Great Lakes is committed to preserving the history of the world’s greatest natural resource. Operated by the Great Lakes Historical Society, the museum was founded in 2014.
