Boochy Mama's Kambucha Tonic Wins Good Food Award

Boochy Mama's Pomona Divine probiotic tonic is recognized as a winner of the 2021 Good Food Award in the Elixirs category.

Great Lakes Tonics, home of Boochy Mama’s Probiotic Tonic, was formed in January of 2015 by Toledo native Stacy Jurich. Stacy learned how to brew kombucha while residing in a sustainable eco-village in Hawaii in 2010. Her intrigue in fermentation and understanding of the health benefits of kombucha lead her to continue brewing once back in Toledo. After a few more years, she was selling kombucha to friends of friends and decided a business was organically underway.

The Pomona Divine tonic is inspired by Damiana tequila, silky roses and made with organic black and green tea, organic evaporated cane juice, natural pear juice, wild crafted damiana, organic rose petals, organic + live probiotic kombucha culture.

The Good Food Awards recognizes food that brings people together and builds strong, healthy communities. Each January, the Good Food Foundation selects winners from over 2,000 entries from all 50 states.
