TedX Toledo Looks to the Future

Each year, Toledo's leading thinkers and doers gather for an event many describe as "The ultimate brain spa".

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design. Speakers are from various industries, backgrounds, and world views, and give the "talk of their lives" in under 18 minutes. The speakers are prominent notables, and people you've never heard of but are doing amazing things and changing the world.

The theme for the 4th annual conference, which takes place at the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion, is The Long View: The things that won't matter at all, and the things that will shape our future.

Presentations will encourage attendees to consider questions such as "How do things affect us now? What impact will they have down the road?"

-Willie Knighten, Former inmate; Facilitator and Case Manager at The RIDGE Project
