Toledo Ranked the #3 Best Place to Retire Rich in the U.S.

GOBankingRates, an online personal finance website, released the findings of a study focused on the "Best and Worst Places to Retire Rich in the U.S.”

In the “Top 10 Best Cities to Retire Rich In”, Toledo placed third, higher than other metros including Memphis, Tennessee and Indianapolis, Indiana.

They found in the study that Toledo has:


• The lowest health insurance costs, with a monthly average of only $229
• The second-lowest cost of living (compared to the other cities in the study)
• The second-lowest median home values, with a low property tax rate of 1.957%
